Korean skincare is sold by volume or weight rather than by garment-style sizes. Here's how to read what's on the bottle — and how to choose when a product comes in more than one size.

How Sizes Are Written

ml (milliliters) — liquid volume. Used for toners, essences, ampoules, serums, cleansers, and sunscreen.
g (grams) — weight. Used for thicker textures in jars and sticks: creams, balms, and most makeup. A 50 g cream and a 50 ml cream are close in size but not identical, since weight depends on the formula.
ea (each) — number of pieces. Sheet masks are sold as single sheets (1 ea) or in boxes (10 ea).

Typical Sizes by Product Type

The sizes you'll see most often across our catalog, with a rough guide to how long one bottle lasts. These assume once- or twice-daily use on the face — your own pace will vary.

Choosing Between Two Sizes

Trying it for the first time? Start with the smaller size — it's the cheaper way to find out whether a formula suits you.
Already a repeat buy? The larger size is usually better value per milliliter.
Check the open-jar period. The small jar symbol on the packaging (12M, 6M…) tells you how many months the product stays fresh once opened. If you won't finish a 500 ml toner within that window, two smaller bottles keep better. Our FAQs explain how to read Korean date markings.
Sunscreen is the one to size up. A proper face application is about a quarter teaspoon, so a 50 ml tube goes faster than you'd expect once you're applying enough.

Traveling With Your Skincare

Most countries limit liquids in cabin baggage to 100 ml per container. The 30–50 ml sizes travel comfortably; 150 ml and above needs to go in checked luggage. Decanting into smaller bottles works in a pinch, but products keep best in their original packaging.

The two-step system includes a highly concentrated ampoule gel-like serum packed with actives and a prebiotic complex, as well as a soft, flexible rubber mask made of naturally derived algae and clay to hydrate and soothe the skin for an instant pick-me-up. After 30-40 minutes of masking this cooling technology decreases skin's temperature to help increase blood circulation for absorption of ingredients deeper into the skin. The hydrating rubber face mask wraps the skin to prevent active ingredients from evaporating, allowing for more complete penetration. Cryo Rubber Mask with Brightening Vitamin C contains Vitamin C and Niacinimade to dissolve excess pigmented dead skin cells while Sea Buckthorn Fruit Extract promotes Vitamin C to help brighten the complexion.

This mask is for all skin types experiencing dark spots, dullness, and puffiness.

CLINICAL RESULTS:

In a clinical study of 20 adults women aged 20-60, the cooling effect of rubber mask stimulated blood circulation and reduced redness:

Our Cryo Rubber Masks were inspired by Cryo Therapy: a process in which the body is “frozen” at -120°C to lower the body temperature. It is used as a recovery method to reset the body back to a healthy state. Where did the name come from? ‘Cryo’ comes from the Greek word kryos meaning ‘cold’ and ‘Rubber’ is in reference to the 85% naturally-derived ingredients that make up the rubber mask material. Cryo Rubber is an innovative two-step mask set that packs the renewing effect of cryo therapy in an at-home treatment.

How to Use

Step 1: Apply the stick ampoule (Step 01) onto skin.Step 2: Open rubber mask pouch (Step 02), remove from film, and fit onto entire face.Proceed by applying the ‘lower mask’ by pulling both ends up to the ears.*Leave on for 30-40 minutes for deeper absorption.Step 3: Remove the mask and lightly pat skin to help absorb remaining ampoule.

Getting started

Patch test first — dab a little on your inner forearm or behind the ear and leave it a day before using it on your face. Introduce one new product at a time, a week or two apart, so you can tell what your skin is responding to. If anything stings, itches, or turns red, stop using it.

Where it goes in your routine

K-beauty layers thin to thick: cleanser → toner → essence, serum, or ampoule → moisturizer, and sunscreen last every morning. Let each layer settle for a moment before the next one — no need to wait for it to dry completely.

What not to layer at once

Exfoliating acids (AHA/BHA), vitamin C, and retinal are best kept apart — alternate them across mornings and evenings, or across days, rather than stacking them in one sitting. See the layering map for what pairs safely with what.

Storing your products

Keep everything in a cool, dry spot out of direct sunlight — a shelf away from the shower steam beats the windowsill or the car.
Close caps and droppers tightly. Vitamin C keeps its potency longest sealed and away from heat.
Water-light textures like essences and ampoules are best finished within their open-jar period.
No need to refrigerate — but a sheet mask chilled for ten minutes is a nice touch in summer.

Reading the date on Korean packaging

Korean cosmetics print dates as year-month-day (for example, 2027.03.15), with two common markings:

까지 (kkaji) or EXP — use by this date.
제조 (jejo) — the date it was made, not the expiry.
